These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the commercial relationship between MAXCEI and its customers, whether individual consumers (B2C) or business entities (B2B), through the online store or physical stores. By placing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.

These GTC apply to all orders and transactions carried out with MAXCEI, regardless of the sales channel (online store, physical store or telephone), and prevail over any other sales conditions that may apply through other distribution or commercial channels. Specific conditions applicable to certain product categories or promotions shall prevail over these GTC to the extent they conflict.
These GTC are permanently available on the MAXCEI website and may be consulted, saved and reproduced by the customer at any time.
MAXCEI sells automotive parts, accessories and customisation products for passenger cars, 4x4 vehicles, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles. All products are subject to stock availability. In the event of a stock shortage after order confirmation, MAXCEI will contact the customer to propose an alternative or issue a full refund.
The MAXCEI website is maintained with the utmost care, but published information — including prices, availability, images and technical specifications — may be subject to inaccuracies arising from manufacturer updates or other external factors. Product photographs are representative only and may not precisely match the physical appearance of the item; this does not affect its essential characteristics.
Under applicable e-commerce legislation (Decree-Law No. 7/2004 of 7 January and its amendments), MAXCEI may cancel an order in the event of a technical failure in its systems or distortion of the contractual offer during transmission, where such circumstances affect an essential element of the agreement.
All prices include VAT at the applicable legal rate, unless expressly stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated at the time of order and displayed before payment confirmation.
MAXCEI reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The price applicable to each order is that displayed at the time of order confirmation.
Validation of an order by the customer implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as in force at the time of purchase.
Receipt of an order is acknowledged by automatic e-mail. This acknowledgement does not constitute contractual acceptance, but merely records the request. The contract is deemed concluded when MAXCEI confirms dispatch or product availability. Data recorded by MAXCEI constitutes proof of all transactions carried out between MAXCEI and its customers.
Order cancellation: The customer may cancel their order free of charge at any point before it enters the dispatch process, and will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Once the order has been delivered, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal as set out in Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February, the conditions of which are described in the Returns Policy.
If payment is not completed within two days of the order being placed, the order will be automatically cancelled by the system.
MAXCEI reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of manifest pricing error, product unavailability or suspected fraud, and will issue a full refund of any amounts paid.
Payment must be made in full before the product is dispatched, unless expressly agreed otherwise. The following payment methods are accepted:
Once the order is placed, the customer is redirected to the MB WAY payment interface to confirm the transaction directly in the app.
A payment reference is generated at checkout. The customer has 24 hours to complete the payment via any Multibanco terminal or online banking. If payment is not received within that window, the order is automatically cancelled.
Card transactions are handled exclusively by a certified external payment provider. MAXCEI has no access to and does not store any card details — the entire process takes place within the provider's secure environment. Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards are supported. The customer will be asked to enter the card number, expiry date and security code (CVV), found on the reverse of the card. MAXCEI will never ask for this information by phone or through any channel outside the payment platform.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on carrier availability and circumstances beyond MAXCEI's control. MAXCEI will make every effort to meet the indicated timeframes but accepts no liability for delays attributable to third parties.
The customer must inspect the order upon delivery. In the event of visible damage to the packaging, it is recommended that the customer refuse delivery or record the occurrence with the carrier and contact MAXCEI immediately.

MAXCEI shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits or consequential losses arising from the use of purchased products, to the extent permitted by applicable law. MAXCEI's total liability to the customer shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
MAXCEI accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation, improper use, or product incompatibility with the customer's vehicle that was not properly verified prior to purchase.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify product compatibility with their vehicle before placing an order. MAXCEI provides search tools and customer support to assist with this, but does not guarantee the suitability of any product for a specific vehicle without prior technical confirmation.
The processing of customers' personal data is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese legislation. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
By registering on the MAXCEI platform, the customer expressly authorises MAXCEI to use their registration data for the purpose of informing them of products and services that may be of interest to them, including through personalised commercial communications. This authorisation may be revoked at any time via the account settings or by contacting MAXCEI directly.

MAXCEI is committed to responding to all complaints received through this channel within the legally established timeframes.
These GTC are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of judicial proceedings, the competent court shall be that of MAXCEI's registered address, without prejudice to applicable consumer protection legislation.
All content published on the MAXCEI website — including texts, images, technical datasheets and commercial materials — is owned by MAXCEI and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation.
Third-party trademarks and brand names referenced on this website belong solely to their respective registered owners. Their inclusion is purely informational and does not imply any association or partnership with MAXCEI.
MAXCEI reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Amendments take effect upon publication on the website. Orders are governed by the GTC in force at the time of their confirmation.
